Frequently Asked Questions

1What insurances do you take? Will Medicare or Medi-Cal cover my stay?
We are Medi-Cal certified and are able to accept Medi-Cal and most managed-care Medi-Cal plans. Medi-Cal or the Medi-Cal managed care plan must authorize long-term placement. Medicare does not cover long-term care stays.
2What is your private pay rate?
Double-occupancy room rates are currently $168.00 per day. Private room rates are $189.00 per day. Private pay rates may change from year to year. A 30-day notice will be provided if there is a change in the private pay rate.
3Do you provide memory care?
We recognize the importance of training our staff on how best to care for those experiencing different levels of memory loss. We provide person-centered care that supports each resident and offer a variety of activities to stimulate cognitive function.
4Do you have private rooms?
We have a limited availability of private rooms. If you desire a private room and one is not immediately available, we will place you on our waiting list.
5Do you allow pets?
We love animals and understand the special bond and comfort that pets provide. We encourage pet visits but do not allow pets to reside in the facility.
6When can I visit my loved one?
We have open visiting hours and encourage families and friends to visit. We ask that you be mindful of the privacy and lifestyle schedules of other residents, especially roommates, during your visits. There are common rooms and outdoor patio areas available for visits.
7When can I come in for a tour?
Please contact our Admissions Coordinator at (323) 980-7529 to schedule a facility tour to ensure our staff has adequate time to show you around and answer your questions.
8Are children allowed in the facility?
Our residents love seeing children, and we encourage children to visit under the direct supervision of an adult. Please be aware that excessive noise and disruptive or unsafe behaviors are prohibited.
9What kind of parking is available?
We have ample parking on campus. Please drive slowly and use caution when driving through the campus as there are often pedestrians walking to and from the Activity Hall to our facilities.
