Beverly loves her family, the Golden State Warriors, and the fulfillment she gains from being a member of the Sakura Intermediate Care Facility family. With over forty years of combined health care experience as a pharmacist and in administration, and as the daughter of a former intermediate care facility resident, Beverly understands the challenges that are often inherent in the aging process. She is committed to making your experience at Sakura Intermediate Care Facility as satisfying as possible.
Miyuki Ichinose Kusayanagi
Director of Nursing Services
Miyuki offers clinical expertise and dedication to meeting the health care needs of the Sakura Intermediate Care Facility residents. She is always available to support her nursing staff and to follow up with physicians, families, and other health care providers to ensure care is coordinated. Miyuki’s ability to speak fluent Japanese brings comfort to our Japanese language residents and families. She is a busy and loving wife and mother of two beautiful daughters.
Aaron Tanaka and Rie Sera
Business Office Manager – Admissions Coordinator
Rie and Aaron partner to provide the best customer service possible. Rie and her beloved Boston Terrier, Sachi, are highly recognizable around campus, spreading joy with a big smile or tail wag. Rie is always available to lend a hand, support the team, and answer questions related to billing and health plan coverage. Aaron is our friendly “first contact” and makes everyone feel welcome. He is known for his patience and generous support, often putting aside his own work to help out a team member. Aaron enjoys running in his free time and has competed in half-marathons.
Yoshie Le Sieur
Social Services Director
Yoshie is the ultimate utility player – you name it and she will do it! Yoshie offers psychosocial support to our residents and her ability to communicate fluently in Japanese promotes understanding and comfort. Yoshie has a Masters degree in Social Work, a background in hospice care, and a heart for serving our community. Her educational background, training and insightfulness contribute to her success in this profession.
Yumi infuses the activities and wellness programs at Sakura Intermediate Care Facility with enthusiasm and laughter. She is knowledgeable in Japanese culture and the development of individual and group activities that provide meaning and fun while meeting the varied interests and preferences of the residents. Yumi cultivates close relationships with her team of dedicated staff and volunteers that helps to enhance the quality of everyday life in the facility.
